We have designed a new fastening system for a certain type of product to be cut: the frozen blocks (meat blocks, fishblocks, etc). These blocks usually have fixed dimensions that are preserved in each piece, they are also flat and have no protuberances so they can be held by a suction mechanism.
This system requires a proper working temperature for the block to maintain its frozen state during the entire cutting process, in addition to the dimensional requirements discussed. If the conditions are met, we can have a clean fastening system, which does not alter the product anywhere and allows us to obtain cuts throughout the length of the piece without having to discard any piece by the deterioration caused by a more aggressive gripping.
